What this policy covers
This policy explains what personal information ACR Traders collects when you use this website, why we collect it, who we share it with, and what you can ask us to do with it.
What we collect
Information you give us:
- Your name, email address and mobile number when you create an account or place an order
- Delivery and billing addresses, including pincode, locality, city and state
- What you ordered, and any notes you added to the order
- Messages you send through the contact form or a product enquiry
- Reviews, ratings, and any photographs or design files you upload
- Your email address, if you subscribe to our newsletter
Information we collect automatically:
- The IP address and browser an order was placed from, kept as a record against fraud
- Basic usage statistics, so we can see which pages are useful
If you sign in with Google or Facebook, we receive your name, email address and profile picture from them. We do not receive your password.
What we do not collect
We do not store a password for you. Signing in works through a one-time code sent to your email address.
We never see or store your card, UPI or net banking details. Online payments are handled entirely by our payment gateway, Razorpay, which is certified to handle card data. We receive only confirmation of whether a payment succeeded, and a reference number.
Why we use it
- To take, fulfil and deliver your order, and to keep you informed about it
- To issue invoices and keep the accounting records the law requires
- To answer your questions and handle returns or complaints
- To send our newsletter, if you asked for it
- To protect against fraudulent orders and misuse of the website
Who we share it with
We share only what is necessary, and only with:
- Our payment gateway, to take and refund payments
- Transport and delivery partners, so they can reach you with your goods
- Our email provider, to send order confirmations and one-time codes
- Government authorities, where the law requires it
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for anyone else to advertise to you.
How long we keep it
Order and invoice records are kept for as long as tax and company law requires. Account details are kept while your account is open. Newsletter subscriptions are kept until you unsubscribe.
Cookies
This website uses cookies to keep you signed in, to remember what is in your cart, and to collect anonymous usage statistics. You can block cookies in your browser settings, but the cart and sign-in will not work without them.
Keeping it safe
Access to customer information is limited to the people in our business who need it for their work, and payment pages are served over an encrypted connection. No system can be guaranteed completely secure, so please tell us at once if you think your account has been misused.
Your choices
You can ask us to show you what we hold about you, correct anything that is wrong, or close your account. You can unsubscribe from the newsletter using the link in any newsletter email. Write to us using the details at the bottom of this page and we will respond as soon as we reasonably can.
Some information cannot be deleted on request, because we are required to keep invoices and tax records for a fixed period.
Children
This website is not intended for children, and we do not knowingly collect information about anyone under 18.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will update the date shown at the top of this page.
