Where we deliver
We deliver across India. Delivery time varies with distance, and the figures shown above are working days rather than calendar days.
How your order travels
Timber, planks and logs are heavy goods and travel by road transport. Smaller items and fittings may go by courier. We choose the method that suits the size and weight of the order, and confirm it with you where the choice affects the cost.
Delivery charges
Weight, volume and distance vary greatly from one order to the next, so delivery is quoted for your particular order rather than added automatically at checkout. We confirm the amount with you before the goods leave us, and you are free to cancel at that point if the cost does not suit you.
Unloading
Logs, planks and large furniture arrive by lorry, and the driver is not able to carry goods into a building. Please make sure somebody is available to receive and unload the consignment, and that the vehicle can reach the address. If a lorry cannot reach you, tell us before dispatch so we can agree a suitable drop point.
If nobody is there
If nobody is available to receive the delivery, the transporter will try to contact you and, failing that, will hold the consignment at the nearest depot. Repeat delivery attempts and any storage charged by the transporter are payable by you.
Checking your goods on arrival
Please check the consignment before you sign for it. If anything is visibly damaged, or the count is short, note it on the delivery paperwork and tell us within 48 hours with photographs. This makes a claim far easier for everyone.
Tracking
We share a tracking number or the transporter details once your order has been dispatched, so you can follow it or contact the transporter directly.
Delays outside our control
Delivery times are given in good faith but are estimates rather than guarantees. Weather, transport strikes, road closures and public holidays can all delay a consignment. If your order is going to be significantly late, we will tell you.
