Who we are
This website is operated by ACR Traders, a timber and wood products business based in Tenkasi, Tamil Nadu. Where these terms say "we", "us" or "our", they mean ACR Traders. Where they say "you", they mean the person using this website or placing an order through it.
Using this website
You may browse this website freely. By placing an order you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding contract. You agree not to use this website for any unlawful purpose, and not to interfere with its operation or security.
Your account
You do not set a password with us. To sign in, we send a one-time code to your email address, and entering that code signs you in. Please keep access to your email secure, because anyone who can read your email can sign in as you. Tell us at once if you believe someone else has used your account.
You may also sign in using a Google or Facebook account. If you do, we receive only your basic profile details from them.
Our products
Timber is a natural material. Grain, colour, figure and small variations in size occur naturally and differ from piece to piece. Photographs on this website show the type of product you are buying and are indicative rather than an exact likeness of the piece you will receive. This is normal for wood and is not treated as a defect.
Dimensions are given in the units shown against each product. Where an item is cut to a size you specify, the tolerance normally accepted in the timber trade applies.
Prices and payment
All prices are shown in Indian Rupees and include the taxes displayed at checkout. Delivery is charged as set out in our Shipping and Delivery Policy.
We accept payment online through Razorpay, and cash on delivery where it is offered. We do not see or store your card details at any point; they are handled entirely by the payment gateway.
We work to keep prices and stock accurate, but errors happen. If we find that an item was listed at the wrong price or is no longer available after you have ordered it, we will contact you and either agree the corrected price with you or cancel the order and refund you in full.
When your order becomes a contract
Placing an order is an offer to buy. Our confirmation email acknowledges that we have received your order, not that we have accepted it. A contract is formed only when we confirm that the goods have been dispatched. We may decline an order before that point, and if we do, any payment already taken is refunded in full.
Delivery, cancellation and refunds
Delivery times and charges are set out in our Shipping and Delivery Policy. Your right to cancel an order or return an item, and how long a refund takes, is set out in our Refund and Cancellation Policy. Both form part of these terms.
Reviews and content you submit
If you submit a review, a photograph or a design, you confirm that it is your own and that we may publish it on this website. Reviews are checked before they appear. We may decline or remove anything unlawful, misleading, offensive or unrelated to the product.
Our content
The text, photographs, logos and design of this website belong to us or to our suppliers. You may not copy or reuse them for commercial purposes without our written permission.
Our responsibility to you
We take care to describe our products accurately and to supply goods that match that description. We are not responsible for loss that was not reasonably foreseeable, or for loss caused by misuse, incorrect installation, or failure to store or maintain timber properly.
Nothing in these terms limits any right you have under Indian consumer law.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising from them is subject to the jurisdiction of the courts at Tenkasi, Tamil Nadu.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version shown on this page when you place an order is the version that applies to that order. The date of the last change is shown at the top of this page.
